Executive Director
The Executive Council is assisted by the Executive Director who is responsible for the administration of the ICCBA and assists with monitoring the implementation of the strategies and activities undertaken by the Executive Council. The Executive Director is also responsible for external communications, and the preparatory phase of drafting documents, reports and publications.

DOMINIC KENNEDY JP
Executive Director
Dominic Kennedy has been Executive Director for the ICCBA since September 2017. He is also part-time Head of Office for the Association of Defence Counsel practising before the International Courts and Tribunals (ADC-ICT). Since 2009 he has been serving as a part-time Magistrate (Justice of the Peace) in England. He has also previously worked with an Expert Member of the UN Human Rights Committee in Geneva and with the defence team representing Mr. Mićo Stanišić at the ICTY. Dominic authored various chapters on defence offices and associations at the international courts and tribunals. He holds a LL.M in International Humanitarian Law from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights and an LL.B in English Law with European Law from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom and Katholieke Universiteit, Leuven, Belgium.
