On 1 October 2019, the ICCBA signed an Affiliation Agreement with the Kuwait Bar Association. A delegation from the Kuwait Bar, headed by the Vice President of the Bar, Mr. Muhannad Alsayer, joined the President of the ICCBA, Mr. Peter Haynes QC and other members of the Executive Council to sign the agreement at the seat of the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
The agreement provides for collaboration between the two organisations on knowledge sharing, training and promoting the work ICC.
This agreement is the latest to be signed and bring the total agreements which have been signed to five. Other agreements have been signed with the African Bar Association, The Federation of European Bars, Advocats.be and the International Association of Lawyers.
